Debate

Learn how to express yourself publicly in a calm, confident way and how to argue thoughtfully and effectively.

Are you someone who likes to speak in front of lots of people? Or are you the shy type that stays seated in the back? Come learn how to express yourself in a calm, confident way and how to argue thoughtfully and effectively. First, you’ll practice speaking in front of groups and learn how to stay calm, cool, and collected. Then, you’ll move on to debate, where you’ll learn how to organize your thoughts, present a coherent argument, and follow the basic procedures of parliamentary debate. Don’t just sit there, stand up and speak!
