Think. Design. Build. Make. Whether you’re interested in solving a problem or bringing your most imaginative ideas to life, we’ve got the course for you! Come explore the EXPLO Makerspace where you can create to your heart’s content. You’ll have a chance to try things like basic hand tools, 3D printers, sewing machines, paper circuits and more as you tinker about in Design Thinking. You’ll begin the week immersed in a basic Maker bootcamp, then it’s time to bring your ideas to life as you prepare a project or an interactive booth for the culminating EXPLO Maker Faire at the end of the week. There’s a creative spirit in all of us — what will you make?

I've never really worked with wood or built anything before. Plus, there's a 3D printer and a bunch of sewing machines. I like that you can take a class or do something that you've never done before. You don't have to have previous experience — you can just start and do so many different kinds of things without worrying about there being a grade or competition at the end. You can just do it for the fun of it.
