Keeping Health + Safety at the Center

In a typical year, EXPLO would offer weekend trips for students to explore off-campus historic, educational, and recreational destinations. In this time of COVID, we are planning with caution in mind and for now, that means minimizing coming and going from campus. It also means at this time that we cannot guarantee that we will offer a day program option. We will continue to review the situation in the coming weeks and months and make a decision as we approach the summer. The information below reflect’s our past year’s programming. 20+ Trip Options Each Session

It’s impossible to fully explore the world of people and ideas if we’re on campus all the time. Weekend trips are a chance to experience different cultural, culinary, and recreational adventures in New York City, and beyond.

Trip Tips:

  • Not everyone has to go on the same trip — there are more than 15 options each weekend.
  • Students sign up for trips once they’re at the program, so they can consider the choices and decide where they want to go.
  • Some students choose based on where their friends are going, but we always recommend choosing what you want to do (it’s a great way to make new friends who share your interests).
  • Students take four trips each session — try something new, and something you love to do!
