EXPLO Mini offers an extended day program for EXPLO Mini students. Students may arrive as early as 7:30 a.m. and eat breakfast at the program. Some families may have commitments that make it difficult for students to return home before dinnertime. To help meet family needs, Mini students are welcome to stay until 6:00 p.m. and eat dinner at the program as long as they have a ride home.
*Students arriving for breakfast or staying for dinner will be charged a small additional fee to cover the cost of the meal.
All fees are in US dollars.
Students enrolling in multiple sessions of EXPLO Mini receive a $20 discount for each subsequent session in which they enroll, after the first session.
For families with a sibling attending one or more EXPLO sessions, each student will receive a discount for each week the sibling is enrolled in EXPLO Mini. The student enrolled in EXPLO Mini will receive a per-week discount of $20 for each week they are enrolled with a sibling. The sibling of the EXPLO Mini student will receive a per-week discount based on the program in which they are enrolled:
Students whose parents are employed by Yale University, Wellesley College, or Wheaton College receive a discount. Please contact our Admission Office for details.
There is a $75 application fee for all international student applicants to cover the cost of student interviews, language assessments, additional staffing, and additional costs.
If your child is under the age of 13, the cost of EXPLO Mini may be eligible for a child and dependent-care tax credit and/or reimbursement through a tax-saving, child-care flexible spending account. If you are planning on claiming the credit, please contact EXPLO for our tax identification number.
Please note: residential program costs are not eligible for the tax credit.
All participants are required to have coverage from a U.S.-based accident and health insurance provider. Students without this coverage will be billed each week for a short term accident/health policy.
