EXPLO has assembled an impressive team of experts to oversee our college preparatory offerings. Through optional courses and seminars, these experts advise and guide our students in various aspects of the college search and application processes.

Through courses on the college search and essay writing, as well as weekly seminars and one-on-one counseling, these seasoned professionals help to make a daunting process more accessible, more manageable… and even more fun.

Committee Members

Logan Powell

Logan Powell is Dean of Admission at Brown University. Prior to his post at Brown, as he served as Director of Undergraduate Admission at Princeton University, Senior Associate Dean of Admission at Bowdoin College and spent five years as a member of the Harvard University admission staff. Powell is a graduate of Bowdoin College and earned his M.Ed. at the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University.

Norma Greenberg

Norma Greenberg is an expert in college admissions. For almost twenty years, she was the Director of Guidance at Wayland High School in Wayland, Massachusetts, USA. She was a Senior College Counselor for Campus Bound and is now College Consultant for Comprehensive College Counseling. She is a former president of the New England Association for College Admission Counseling and a former member of the New England Regional Council for the College Board. Norma holds an M.A.T. from Harvard Graduate School of Education, her C.A.G. in counseling from Northeastern University, and a bachelor’s degree in Russian and history.

Don McMillan

Don is the CEO of the leading educational consultancy, McMillan Education. His team currently works with students in 60 countries. He is regularly quoted as an expert on education in major publications such as The Boston Globe and The New York Times, and is a sought-after speaker at national conferences. Don is a Vice President and serves on the Board of Directors of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), as well as committees for the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) and The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS).
