and away we go

Paddle a kayak through the Thimble Islands. Go to a Broadway show. Hike the Sleeping Giant. Visit the Guggenheim. Hear the Boston Symphony at Tanglewood. Explore the mansions of Newport, Rhode Island. Tour the campuses of Harvard and NYU. The Senior Program offers more than 40 fantastic trips each session, allowing you to explore locations throughout New York City and the New England area.

weekend trips

Weekend trips are focused on cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities, including sight-seeing, theatre trips, and outdoor adventures. We also use weekends as a time to offer additional on-campus workshops and sports clinics. Although many trips are available to all students, some trips are limited in size due to location or the necessity of reserving space in advance. On any given weekend, we offer up to 15 different trips to choose from. Weekend trip sign-up occurs at the Program.

wednesday college trips

On Wednesdays, you may opt out of our regular speaker series schedule in order to spend the day touring select campuses in the Northeast. There are three different tours each week, and each tour visits two unique campuses. These trips are an invaluable opportunity for students looking ahead to college. Seeing campuses firsthand often aids students in selecting what type of school is right for them.

All college trips are available for an additional flat fee of $35. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis with priority being given to rising seniors and juniors. If you choose to go on a college trip, you must sign up, in advance, on your application — not at the Program. Refunds will be given only if a replacement is found.
