arrival + departure information Residential students should arrive on campus on the opening Sunday of each session between 1:00pm, when registration begins, and 5:00pm, when the Program begins its opening meeting. Day students are also encouraged to register on Sunday, but may choose to register in the morning of the first Monday of each session. Registration information will be mailed to enrolled families. traveling by plane Exploration will prove transportation from Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT to the Yale campus for students whose flights are scheduled to arrive between 12noon and 5pm on arrival day. Students will be met at the baggage claim by Exploration staff members. It is to the advantage of the student to arrive at the Program as early as possible in order to have time to settle in before the evening orientation meeting. In order to arrange for a pick-up, students must return the arrival and departure forms that will be sent to enrolled students in the spring. The form will ask for the airline, flight number, and arrival time of the flight. Departure day flights should be scheduled to leave Bradley International Airport between 8:00am and 1:00pm. traveling by train Train pick-ups are made at Union Station in New Haven. To arrange for a pick-up, students must return the arrival and departure forms that will be sent to enrolled students in the spring. The form will ask for the train number, point of origin, and arrival time for each student. Students should plan to arrive between 1:00pm and 5:00pm on arrival day. Departure day reservations should be scheduled to leave New Haven between 8:00am and 1:00pm. traveling by car Students should arrive between 1:00 pm, when registration begins, and 5:00 pm, when the Program begins its opening meeting.
