afternoon option 1: princeton review

Students interested in using the afternoon academic block to focus on improving test-taking strategies or study skills for the SAT or PSAT can take a 3-week Princeton Review course. Nationally-renowned Princeton Review courses document an average score improvement of 140 points from a student’s PSAT score to his best SAT score.

Princeton Review courses meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 2:00-4:00pm each day. There is an additional fee for each Princeton Review course. The cost of each course is listed at the bottom of the course description. See sidebar for refund policy. Students who choose not to enroll in a Princeton Review course must sign up to take mini-courses during the afternoon academic block.

princeton review refund policy

Princeton Review courses are available for an additional fee. These courses are taught by outside consultants. The fee is used to pay for these instructors and for materials.

Students who wish to withdraw from Princeton Review courses may do so without penalty on the first Monday and Tuesday of the course. If students withdraw on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, they will be charged a $100 fee and will join a current events mini-course for the rest of the week. After the first week, no refunds will be given. Written or verbal parental permission for dropping a course must be given to the registrar’s office before the third class meeting.
