the campus of st. mark’s school The Exploration Junior Program is located on the beautiful campus of St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Massachusetts. St. Mark’s is one of the country’s oldest and most prominent coeducational college preparatory schools, located on a picturesque campus with 250 acres of fields, woodlands, and ponds. The Junior Program has almost unlimited access to St. Mark’s extraordinary facilities. In addition to superb classroom spaces, there are art studios, a theatre, an excellent health center, and an award-winning science center. The school’s sports facilities rival those at many colleges and include a multi-million dollar sports complex, with eight playing fields, eight tennis courts, and a pool. Southborough is 26 miles west of Boston, giving students a unique opportunity to enjoy one of the nation’s great historical, cultural, and educational centers. In addition to its proximity to Boston, St. Mark’s School is only 15 miles from Wellesley College, making it easy for Junior Program students to visit brothers and sisters at the Exploration Intermediate Program. campus notes
