Monday, August 1 Jared the Conjurer Magician, acrobat, and contortionist extraordinaire! Jared is a circus performer who will wow you with his agility, sleight of hand, and incredibly flexibility! With a list of amazing feats – including escape from a strait jacket and contortion poses — Jared is sure to thrill! Tuesday, August 2 Pioneer/Voyager Talent Show See your friends perform talents you never imagined they had. This is your chance to sing, dance, do magic tricks, comedy or show off any other talent! Wednesday, August 3 Off-Campus Movies/7th Grade Graduation 7th graders put on their dress clothes and attend a special dinner and graduation ceremony, followed by a special 7th hour outside. Meanwhile, let’s go out to the movies! This is your chance to enjoy a night out with your friends at the movie theater, watching one of this summer’s new releases. (Don’t worry…we’ll let you know which movie it is a few days before). Sit back, munch on some buttery popcorn with soda in hand, and enjoy the show. Day Students will need to sign up for this Main Event like a trip. A form will be sent home several days before, which will also indicate a special pick-up time. Thursday, August 4 Off-Broadway Night The Explo Junior Program transforms itself into Broadway! This is a highly anticipated night when your friends will put on the shows they’ve been rehearsing all session. Get ready to cheer when your showbiz friends take their bows. Friday, August 5 Final Party It’s the night everybody has been waiting for. . .and this party will be a BLAST! This is the kind of party that only the Explo Junior program could pull off. Music, games, food and crazy dancing will mark the end of the first session of the Junior Program. Top the whole thing off with a slideshow of all the fun you’ve had in the last three weeks, and you’re sure to have fond memories of this night for the rest of your life.

Main events occur every evening between 7:30 and 8:30 PM. Day students are encouraged to stay late to take part in our evening festivities. Junior Program main events often feature performers, theme nights, student and staff talent shows, and special evening trips. Weekly main event listings are posted every Monday during the summer.
