about our mini-courses Mini-courses are designed as shortened versions of our three-week courses, and include additional athletic and academic options. They occur in the mornings and afternoons on Wednesdays and are a great chance for you to explore a current interest or to try something new. For example, if you are a science buff who has signed up for courses on biomedical ethics and spacecraft design, you could use your mini-course to learn how to prepare sushi or write poetry. On your application you must choose six mini-course preferences.
