Monday, August 4
Staff Improv
What better way to get to know your new faculty members than watching them exercise their savage wit in a night of intense improvisational prowess? It’s the perfect blend of “Who’s Line is it, Anyway?” and the creative energies of Explo.

Karaoke
Beat that, Beyonce! Sing your superior rendition of “My Girl” or gather a group of your friends for a rousing chorus of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River.” We provide the tunes and you lend us your voice. Get up onstage or support your friends; either way, you’re sure to witness some incredible talent!

Tuesday, August 5
Talent Show
Can you balance a ladder on your nose while pedaling a unicycle across a tightrope? Okay, maybe not that, but we’re sure you can wow the crowd with your vocal talent or dancing prowess. Come step up for a solo, storm the stage with friends, or supply the applause from the audience. Either way, there’s room for all kinds of talent and fun in the show!

Explo Bingo
In groups of three or four, compete for the Explo Bingo World Championship Title. Instead of a bingo board, you’ll have a pillowcase full of your own items, which you bring to the game. The caller will call out categories based on color, size, shape, etc. The more stuff you can fit in the pillowcase, the more likely you are to have a match!

Wednesday, August 6
Cruise Night
Come dance the night away as we sail around on a private cruise boat through beautiful, moonlit Boston Harbor. Whether you enjoy pirouettes or piracy, this cruise night is for you. Gaze at the gorgeous Boston skyline, enjoy 2 decks of dance music with a professional DJ, grab some grub, play board games, sing karaoke and enjoy the company of the friends you’ve made on one of the most memorable nights at Explo.
***Note to Day Students: if you choose to attend Cruise Night (and we hope you do!), you must stay overnight this evening due to the trip’s late night return.***

Thursday, August 7
Off Broadway Night
Has your “Stomp” class been working on a stellar routine for presentation day? Have you written an incredible song in “School of Rock”? Showcase three week’s worth of hard work by performing for your peers in Alumni Hall. Rock with your dance routine, overwhelm us with your acting monologue, and make us laugh with your improv. Come one, come all, as we cheer on Explo for all of our accomplishments this summer!

Friday, August 8
Closing Ceremony
Come strut your stuff on the red carpet, because you’re invited to an exclusive Explo-only event, which will include dancing and the famous Explo Slideshow. We’ll look back on our last three weeks together and remember the good times, the great times, and all that we’ll take with us. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll dance for joy! Go Explo!

Main events occur every evening between 7:15 and 8:30 PM. Day students are encouraged to stay late to take part in our evening festivities. Intermediate Program main events often feature performers, speak outs, student dances, theme nights, student and staff talent shows, and special evening trips.
