EXPLO Focus

EXPLO Focus: Overview

A 2-week summer focus program for students ages 11-17 on the campuses of St. Mark's School, Wellesley College, + Yale University.

Here’s your chance to dive in, dig deeper, and explore one special interest. You could spend your days repairing an injured knee, cooking a five-course meal, or intubating a patient. You’ll learn from working professionals — such as Foreign Affairs editors, orthopedic surgeons, or zoo veterinarians — and get an insider’s view of their world. In the evenings, you’ll join up with students from the 360 Programs at Yale, Wellesley, or St. Mark's, for an outstanding series of main events and activities. You may arrive as a student, but you'll leave as a budding professional.

EXPLO Chef

You like to cook — you’ll love becoming a chef. As sous-chefs, you’ll learn how to shop for and prep quality ingredients, and cook and plate restaurant-worthy dishes alongside critically acclaimed chef Jerome Picca, Harvard University’s Chef Manager.
