So, maybe we're not coming to a school near you. Or maybe you have a conflicting obligation the days we're in town. Whatever it is, if you'd like to work for Exploration but can't make it to an info/interview session, that's okay, you can still apply for a position on our summer faculty.
If you are not attending an info session, we highly recommend that you spend extra time online reviewing information about the programs that you might be interested in working at (Senior, Intermediate, Junior). Take time to visit the Program summer sites and review the materials available on our hiring website so you can get an accurate idea of what working at Exploration is all about. If you have any questions, contact our faculty hiring coordinator at faculty_hiring@explo.org or 781.762.7400.
Once you know what positions you are interested in and at what program(s) you'd like to work, you should complete and submit an online application. We will send you an email when we receive your application. If, after reviewing your application, we require a follow up phone interview, we will be touch. Because of the volume of applications we receive, please do not call us to request a phone interview.

The interview (in person or over the phone) is our chance to get to know you -- as well as your chance to get a one-on-one feel for EXPLO. We want to talk to you about your interests, hear what you'd like to create and accomplish at the Program, and answer any questions you might have. Here are some tips to help you prepare for your interview:
Be Prepared
Review our material online. Have an idea of the types of positions are you interested in, which age groups are you most compatible with, and which Program(s) you would you like to work at. Prepare a list of questions, if you have any. If you're interested in teaching at EXPLO, it's a good idea to come in with some ideas of possible lessons, activities, and class projects you might like to lead.
Be Honest, Be Reflective
Our interviews often are more like informal, personal conversations. We're looking for candidates who can asses their strengths and weaknesses thoughtfully and accurately. One question we like to ask: how will you succeed at EXPLO, and how might you need support?
