The Iggy Project
When students arrive at Explo this summer, they'll make friends with students from around the world. With the Iggy Project, we give our students a chance to find out a little bit about their summer peers — and share a little bit about themselves — before we even step foot on campus.

What is the Iggy Project?
You're a sharp, critical thinker. You're massively creative and intensely curious. You're an explorer. How do we know that?
Because you're coming to Explo — and we think you're ready for your first creative Explo challenge.
Within the next couple of days, you'll receive your Iggy — Explo's original logo — in the mail.
Your Assignment
Take a horizontal photo that meets the following three criteria:
- The photo must include Iggy.
- The photo must show us who you are and where you're from.
- The photo must be awesome.
What does an "awesome" photo look like? Click on the video above for more information.
IMPORTANT!
From the moment you receive your Iggy in the mail, you'll have two weeks to email your photo to iggy@explo.org.
Your email's subject line should look like this:
Your Name / Your Program / Your Session
May the inspiration be with you — we can't wait to see your photos!
Why Iggy?
"Iggy" was Explo's very first logo. He was created shortly after Explo's founding in 1976 and remained the icon of Exploration for almost 30 years before making the difficult decision to retire.
He's currently basking in the Tahitian rays (Iggy loves the tropics), but as our first intrepid explorer, Iggy loves coming back from time to time to join in on the fun.
