It’s a program where you can try out all sorts of cool things — like speed racing, hovercraft physics, and the science of baking cookies — without worrying about getting it right the first time, because you’ll always have a chance to try again. (In fact, we guarantee it.)
And you get to do it all in an environment where every staff member — from the Day and Resident Advisors to the Head of Explo at St. Mark’s — is there to make sure you feel safe, secure, and most of all, at home.

What are You Most Curious About?
Whatever you want to explore, experience, or just try on for size this summer, we’ve got courses, workshops, activities, and trips into Boston and New England that will make each day feel like a new adventure.
You choose which courses and workshops you’d like to take, and we create the flexible, structured environment where you’ll make it all happen. You’re always welcome to take part in projects, activities, and games you’re more familiar with, but we’ll (gently) encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone and try something zany, new, or just plain silly.

The first thing you'll notice about Explo is how easy it is to make friends. The second thing you'll notice is how easy it is to be yourself. If you love science or dance or math or sports, you'll feel right at home here. If you love reading or art or cooking or robots, you'll feel right at home here, too. You have the chance to design your days to look just how you want them — from choosing the subjects you’ll explore to which outfit you’ll wear for theme days — and the opportunity to explore every facet of campus life.
Best of all, you’ll have the chance to experience the independence that comes with spending your days (and nights) away from home — knowing that if there’s ever anything you need, every staff member on campus is there to make sure you feel safe, secure, and most of all, at home.
